Aliens Poster

A simple screen printed poster for the movie Aliens. During my brief time with printmaking I created a few designs for screen printing; however, they mostly involved a decent amount of colors and I never really explored more simple ideas. For this poster I wanted to go as simple as possible and use one color, but also have the screen work with the design. In this case it gave it a space like quality that goes with the theme of the movie. It also bring out a small scenes of unease, something like an ink block test.
